The book of Enoch was not considered “inspired” by certain religious powers-that-be, and so was removed from the Bible.

Others considered it “dangerous” and banned it altogether.

Jesus quoted from this book, based parables on it, used some of its symbology, and (most importantly) is featured throughout it.

That’s good enough for me to consider it worth reading and learning from.
