It should be of no surprise to any born-again believer that the events of the world perfectly align with scripture. We know from Daniel and Revelation that the world’s populations are marching steadily towards global totalitarianism or what is popularly known as the “new world order” or “one world government”. Make no mistake about it – this is Satan’s kingdom that is in the final stages of being set up, to be ruled over by what Paul called “the man of perdition” and Daniel referred to as the “King of the North”. This is not Jesus’ thousand-year reign, though it will someday be sold to nominal Christians as such. (more…)
It’s that time of the year again when Christians declare war on cute little kids and free candy by turning off their porch light and refusing to answer the door. I covered this topic last year, but it deserves a rerun.
So here goes: (more…)
Jesus had no interest in politics, which was unusual for a young man of his cultural background. While politics consumed the hearts and minds of most of his fellow countrymen, Jesus kept his distance. This wasn’t because he was ignorant of political matters; far from it. He understood only too well the depths and temptations of worldly corruption in the political realm. (more…)
God changes his mind. He never changes, mind you (he’s the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever), but he does change his mind. There are numerous instances in the Bible when he was about to render his judgement and then, through a last minute appeal, stayed his hand.
People ask me why I don’t write for a living. I tell them I do. They say, “So where do you publish?” I say, “Online”. They say, “But for what company?” I say, “No company. I work for God.” And then they give me one of those looks (you know the one I’m talking about) and the conversation ends. (more…)
Canada recently passed a bill legalizing what they term as “medical aid in dying”, whose proper acronym, fittingly, is “MAD”. Countless religious leaders of all persuasions spoke out against this so-called medical procedure as the bill worked its way through the Canadian Parliament and then the Senate, but the majority of Canadians supported the bill and now support the law. In other words, the majority of Canadians consider that getting someone to help you kill yourself is not only a darn good idea but a “right” that should be protected by law. (more…)
God chooses us for any number of reasons. The first and foremost one is that we choose him, sometimes without even knowing it (as I did). But in choosing us first and foremost because we choose him, he then chooses which of us will have the option of doing what kind of work within the Kingdom. In Heaven, we’ll have missions; on Earth, we’ll likewise have missions, and the missions God chooses for us are suited to our personality. (more…)
When all three branches of government have been co-opted like this, it ceases being an actual government and is simply a criminal enterprise.
We have no real government at this point. It is pure mafia, totally corrupt, and I believe our forefathers were clear on what needs to happen when things hit this stage.

I have had a few lively discussions lately on the topic of political leaders and the state of nations. As I can’t help but come at this topic from the perspective of a born-again believer, I invariably have grated against the nerves of nearly everyone I’ve spoken to. I’m used to being attacked (water off a duck’s back), so that aspect of it doesn’t bother me, but what does stick a bit in my craw is how people refuse to take personal blame for anything that’s happening in their country. It’s as if they have no life experience at all, and only know how to point a finger of blame at everyone but themselves. (more…)
