DIE-VERSIONS

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 31, 2017 – Everything that is God’s way leads to life.

Everything that is not God’s way leads to death.

The world is one big humungous diversion whose sole purpose is to lead us away from God and towards death.

It does this by enticing us to waste our time engaging in activities that have nothing to do with preaching the Word, nothing to do with aiming for Heaven, nothing to do with passing our tests or learning our lessons. (more…)

SPIRITUAL BUTTERFLIES

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 29, 2017 – I’m traveling again.

Traveling does more than jolt you out of your daily routine; it reveals the real you.

When you travel, you live and move as a stranger among strangers. Your usual frames of reference do not apply: not knowing anyone and not being known by anyone frees you from adhering to expected behaviors and from expecting certain behaviors from others.

It’s like a cleansing of your behavioral palate, a resetting back to default. (more…)

A SPECIAL NOTE FOR THOSE WHO STAND WITH JESUS-KILLERS

Jesus-Killers

OAKVILLE, Ontario, May 16, 2017 – This is for you.

You know who you are.

You say you’re a Christian, but you openly support the Synagogue of Satan.

Can you really be that stupid? (more…)

YOUR OWN PERSONAL NAZARETH

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, May 11, 2017 – Can you imagine if Jesus had stayed in Nazareth?

I can.

He probably would have gotten married, had a few kids, taught Sunday school, and generally lived a low-key though respectable life as a competent carpenter. Every now and then, he’d think about what might have been if he’d left Nazareth and done what God had urged him to do, but then he’d push those thoughts aside. He’d made a decision, made a commitment to the life he chose, and that was that.

Jesus could have lived like this. Any number of people who love God do actually live like this – quiet, respectable lives, going about their daily business and raising families. Nothing wrong with that.

Or is there? (more…)

This Much I Know

kindness

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, May 10, 2017 – I have spent the past 18 years living as a Christian. Prior to that, I was a loud and proud atheist.

I have not changed.

My values have changed, but my personality has not. I am still the same impetuous, occasionally impatient, outspoken, laugh-out-loud, fearless person I always was. I did my own thing as an atheist, and I do my own thing now.

Being a Christian doesn’t prevent you from doing your own thing. It just changes what that “thing” is. (more…)

GO!

starting pistol

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, May 10, 2017 – As the world around us spins faster and faster and faster, we need more than ever to ground ourselves in this one simple fact:

We have only one chance to get it right.

Just one.

When we die, we don’t get another chance to “come back” and make better choices. We get just one chance, and we’re living that chance now. (more…)

KNOW GOD

KNOW GOD

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, April 29, 2017 – The Christian community is divided into two main camps: those who know God, and those who know about God.

Walk into a church building on any given Sunday and you’ll likely find representatives of both camps. Unfortunately, those who know about God far outnumber those who know him.

Which camp are you in? Which camp are your Christian friends in? (more…)

THOU SHALT NOT KILL

Thou shalt not kill

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, April 14, 2017 – I have written about this before, but it bears repeating, given the current state of the world.

Christians do not kill people. Not ever. Not under any circumstances. Not for any reason, including self-defense or defense of property or loved ones. (more…)

WORST ENEMIES

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, March 12, 2017 – If you’re living someplace where you can’t openly follow Jesus, get out of there.

Jesus never told us to stay where God’s Word wasn’t welcome. On the contrary – Jesus told us not only to leave such places but to shake the dust off our feet as a warning.

He himself left Nazareth with just the clothes on his back.

We, too, should be just as ready to leave at a moment’s notice. (more…)

DEMON MIGRATION

NotreGargoyle

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, March 12, 2017 – Demons are on the move these days.

Where God and Jesus are not welcome, demons rush in.

Spiritual migration is not a topic that you’ll ever hear about in the mainstream media, but it should be headlining every news source on Earth. It’s the real story – not the movement of people, but the movement of the demons that attend on them and the impact of such a sudden infestation. The forced transplantation of demons into former Christian strongholds is equivalent to a demon invasion. (more…)
